Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our Test & Flight Operations team. As a Software Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our ground systems, test, and launch facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-level software requirements for controller electronics
  • Draft or review software design descriptions
  • Support technical trade studies
  • Draft or review software interface control document (SW ICD)
  • Draft or review software verification descriptions, scripts, and results
  • Support verification activities for software and subsystem integration
  • Ensure software readiness for integrated system test
  • Track anomaly reports and software change requests through implementation and resolution
  • Utilize collaboration tools such as Jama, JIRA, Confluence, Windchill, and Creo

Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or software engineering, including software requirements development or verification
  • Experience in full software development life cycle
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industry relevant software standards (Ex. DO-178B/C DAL)
