Location Description

Your Role
As a stewarding team member, you'll play a crucial role in the success of our food and beverage operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all kettles are cleaned at the start of your shift, operating and maintaining the dish machine according to manufacturer's standards, receiving, scraping, rinsing, and racking dishes and utensils, and unloading the dish machine, stacking, storing, and returning dishes and utensils to their proper area. You'll also inspect dishes after cleaning and prior to storing to ensure they're clean and in good repair. Additionally, you'll wash all pots and pans, change cleaning solution, and ensure proper sanitation is followed. You'll empty garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen as needed, maintain the dish area, including floors, walls, and counter areas, and sweep and mop floors in the dish room and kitchen. You'll also transport soiled ware to the wash area and return empty trucks to the bus area, if necessary. You'll wipe down counter tops and preparation areas to maintain a clean and efficient operation, restock the area with required supplies, handle cleaning chemicals according to safety standards, and assist with lifting and moving food carts, dish storage racks, and other kitchen equipment as directed by your supervisor. You'll meet all cleaning and sanitation requirements.
Qualifications
We're looking for hardworking and motivated individuals to join our team. Successful candidates will have a desire to learn, develop skills, and work with the culinary and food and beverage leadership teams to keep kitchen operations running smoothly. We require a high school diploma or equivalent experience/training, previous experience washing dishes and working with cleaning chemicals, the ability to operate kitchen dishwashing equipment, and the ability to be on your feet for the full shift. You'll also need to be able to transport, push/pull carts up to 50 lbs., often throughout the shift, as well as reach, grab, bend, and stretch to keep all wares moving along. You must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts and be able to work independently.
