Aviation Maintenance Technician

SafeTech USA is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ridgeland, SC. As a key member of our Inflatables shop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our clients' aircraft.
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled technician who can learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for repairing and overhauling inflatable life rafts in accordance with FAA and EASA regulations. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent technical skills, we want to hear from you
Duties and Responsibilities
- Learns skills and develops technical aptitude to build products that meet specifications and exceed customer expectations.
- Completes various types of maintenance documents, including Test Results and In-Process Inspections, in accordance with FAA and EASA regulations and company policies.
- Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to all relevant safety procedures.
- Works effectively as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
- Lifts up to 75-100 pounds and performs other physically demanding tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical school training and certification helpful.
- Excellent math skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Good eyesight and color vision, manual dexterity, and ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly.
Benefits
SafeTech USA offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus medical insurance, life insurance, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, company match to our 401K, employee perks program, and bonus eligibility.
