Halff is currently seeking a dedicated Field Survey Technician to join our team. This role is based in a dynamic field environment where you will support a Party Chief by utilizing both conventional and GPS survey instruments to precisely measure topographic features and boundary indicators. Your contributions will be vital for various projects, including land development, transportation, utilities, energy, and surveying initiatives.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after completing 1,000 hours in your first year. This plan allows you to earn company stock based on established schedules for stock valuation and distributions, providing a pathway to share in the success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting topographic surveys, ALTA and boundary surveys, and construction staking.
- Operate Trimble GPS and conventional survey equipment effectively.
- Utilize computer technology to support survey operations.
- Maintain a valid Driver's License and adhere to safety protocols.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions diligently.
- Demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Be available for a 7:30 AM start time, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.
- Travel may be required, with assignments lasting up to two weeks at a time.
