Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to support clients' communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Rhode Island state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • IEP experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with AAC devices
