The Laboratory Supervisor at Parkridge East Hospital is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and achieving department goals for service, quality, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise laboratory personnel, processes, and service levels to achieve organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Manage functional areas of responsibility, including technical discipline areas, specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service, quality, and financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intra and inter-departmental activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Current State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs.

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility providing a full range of medical and surgical services, including orthopedics, robotic surgery, and obstetrical care. The hospital offers a 24/7 Emergency Department and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
