We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Controller to join our team at Global Medical Response. As a key member of our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily activities for the 135 maintenance operations and ensure all maintenance performed is addressed in RAMCO through the use of the AML.
- Collect data for the submission of FAR part 135.415 service difficulty reporting (SDR) and assist the DOM in the surveillance of EagleMed 135 operations for compliance.
- Issue authorization for inspection/overhaul extensions and maintain a log of authorized inspection extensions.
- Receive calls from mechanics/pilots for King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 aircraft being placed out of service for maintenance and review with the mechanic/pilot proper write-up to be entered into the maintenance record.
- Ensure an AML is created in Ramco to record all maintenance performed and create all OOS for maintenance pages and updates.
- Initiate calls to mechanics for unscheduled maintenance and coordinate all efforts in returning an aircraft to service, including personnel, parts, tools, and technical data.
- Assist mechanics in troubleshooting aircraft and engine problems and work through procedures to identify proper parts required and ensure they are ordered appropriately for King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 series aircraft.
- Contact technical representatives or engineering services to gather technical data, expanded damage limits, or detailed repair guidance to expedite return to service as required.
- Ensure return to service (RTS) procedures are followed and issue MEL control numbers for deferred maintenance and ensure proper tracking in Ramco.
- Fixed wing aircraft maintenance experience required.
- King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 or equivalent maintenance experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current and valid A&P certificate or equivalent required.
- Current and valid state driver's license.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge in aircraft, engine, and component records.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
