About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a COTA, you'll work under the direction and supervision of a treating occupational therapist to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Assist the treating occupational therapist in documenting patient progress and response to treatment
- Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities to restore physical and sensory-integrative function
- Communicate with the supervising occupational therapist and other healthcare team members to promote coordination of care
- Visually and aurally observe and assess patients
- Participate in quality and performance improvement measures
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of two (2) years of certified occupational therapy assistant experience, ideally in home healthcare
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
