Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist - Resident Care Specialist is a key member of the Benedictine team, responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services to residents. This role requires a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted interventions to address these areas.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
  • Provide education and training to residents, family members, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions, and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, in good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
