Responsibilities:

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing field inspections, developing inspection reports, and preparing detailed plans for new and rehabilitation bridge designs.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Concentration (preferred)
  • Three-five years of experience in transportation projects for State Agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region preferred (MD, DE, DC, VA)
  • FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Certification
  • Previous bridge, culvert, ancillary highway structures, and/or tunnel inspection experience
  • Experience with FHWA Inventory and Element Level data collection
  • OSHA, SPRAT or equivalent training a plus
  • Experience with current AASHTO design specifications, design procedures, bridge standards and details, and structural computer models
  • Ability to develop CAD drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD
  • Good project management, technical writing and communication skills

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$95,000 annually, a professional work environment, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) and EOE M/F/ DISABILITY/VETS.
