About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax and financial needs
  • Provide personalized tax advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they are in compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients, either in-person or virtually, to gather information and provide expert advice
  • Develop and implement tax plans to help clients achieve their financial goals
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients are aware of any new requirements or opportunities
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including individual and business tax returns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients of all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
