Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Custodian to join our team at Salina Unified School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas are tidy and well-maintained
  • Assist with other duties within the maintenance and operations department as needed
  • Interact positively with constituents, including students, faculty, and staff
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift items in excess of 50 pounds
