Job Title: I&C Works Lead

Job Summary:

The FootBridge Companies is seeking an experienced I&C Works Lead to support the Controls and Instrumentation (C&I) activities of the CHP Project. The successful candidate will provide site support and oversight for the C&I activities, reviewing planning and coordination of activities, reviewing contractor deliverables, and accepting contractor works with respect to quality, functionality, and contract adherence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Support and Oversight: Assist the Construction Site Manager in all necessary aspects involving site activities, including reviewing planning and coordination of activities, reviewing contractor deliverables, and accepting contractor works with respect to quality, functionality, and contract adherence.
  • Claim Management and Documentation: Provide support in claim management and documentation, including variation management and reporting, and contract entitlements.
  • Project Standards and Methodology: Effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards, ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Risk Management: Monitor, control, and minimize risks on the project.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with and work alongside the contractor in all areas of mechanical works for the project, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and monitoring receivables for the project.
  • Team and Client Meetings: Facilitate team and client meetings effectively, attending regular status meetings with the project team and communicating relevant project information to superiors.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion, monitoring and inspecting electrical works erection/installation/commissioning activities of the contractor regarding progress, compliance with the contract, and applicable codes/standards, quality, safety, and environmental acceptance.
  • Work Method Statements: Review, provide input, and approve contractor general erection/installation/commissioning work method statements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Demonstrated successful performance as an Owner's Rep on multiple projects of similar design or as part of EPC Team on multiple projects of similar design.
  • Site Experience: Minimum 7 years' of site experience in power and/or utility stations.
  • Power Project Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience for power projects including construction and commissioning.
  • Instrumentation and Controls Knowledge: Advanced knowledge and experience with installation means/methods for all types of field instrumentation.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge and experience with installation means/methods for all voltages of electrical cable and raceway (tray & conduit) installations.
