We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Emerald Health Services for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate diagnosis of diseases through the examination of cells and tissues.

• Conduct microscopic examinations of cell and tissue samples to detect abnormal cell growth and cancerous cells
• Prepare and stain slides for examination, using various techniques and equipment
• Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and successful completion of a 12-month training program in an accredited school of cytotechnology
• Graduation from an approved, CAHEA-accredited cytology program or HHS-approved cytology program, with college credits and experience
• 2 years of experience in a cytology laboratory
• BLS certification
