Systems Integration Specialist

Position Overview:
Arcfield is dedicated to safeguarding the nation and its allies through advancements in digital transformation, space mission engineering, launch assurance, miniaturized sensors and satellites, advanced modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, and support for conventional and hypersonic missile systems. With a headquarters in Chantilly, VA, and 16 global offices, Arcfield employs over 1,500 professionals, including engineers, analysts, and IT specialists, boasting more than 60 years of combined experience in cyber and space defense, space exploration, hypersonic and nuclear deterrence, and warfighter readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing standards, practices, and procedures for the integration, testing, evaluation, and transition of systems and enterprise capabilities. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to:
- Design, develop, and implement testing and evaluation strategies, plans, and methodologies to ensure system reliability in accordance with specifications and defined enterprise capabilities.
- Integrate system and enterprise components to function cohesively.
- Generate system requirements and verification approaches, as well as customer acceptance criteria.
- Participate in system reviews to ensure compliance with requirements through verification and validation.
- Produce detailed reports on testing activities and monitor test metrics.
- Conduct analyses and evaluations of systems under test, assessing performance based on established criteria and technical performance measures.
- Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and risk assessments.
- Evaluate discrepancy reports and conduct integration regression testing to validate fixes affecting systems.
Specific Duties Include:
The Systems Integrator will conduct Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) and system-level verification activities to confirm that products meet mission requirements and performance standards. Responsibilities also include:
- Identifying integration risks and performing IV&V testing.
- Assessing and validating technical requirements.
- Developing, maintaining, delivering, and executing test plans and procedures that verify and validate incremental capability delivery against functional and technical requirements.
- Providing documentation and analysis of test verification results.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must possess and maintain TS/SCI with Poly.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- BS 8-10 years, MS 6-8 years, PhD 3-5 years, or relevant experience.
Desired Certifications:
Any of the following certifications are preferred:
- CompTIA CASP (IAT Level III).
- CompTIA Security +.
- EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
- ITIL Foundation V3.
- Splunk Fundamentals.
- Microsoft MTA Networking Fundamentals.
- VMware Certified Associate - Cloud.
