RCM AR Specialist

Isaiah House is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RCM AR Specialist to join our team in Lexington, KY.

We are a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality substance use disorder treatment services.

• Ensure timely and accurate follow-up on denied claims, unadjudicated claims, and overpaid claims by third-party payers.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on trends and issues related to payers, CPT/HCPCS codes, and DX codes.
• Work with denials, appeals, and rebills to ensure timely resolution.
• File claims to secondary and tertiary payers with proper documentation.
• Work assigned AR for outstanding accounts for resolution.
• Work assigned payer credit report for resolution to overpayments from payers.
• Maintain a write-off log to report to management for approval.
• Assist with client account inquiries.
• Report trending or payer issues to management.
• Maintain payer websites and stay current on payer policy changes to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Behavioral Health preferred.
• 2+ years of background in Primary Care/FQHC billing or accounts receivable preferred.
• Working knowledge of eClinical Works EMR preferred.
