Job Overview

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Processing: Prepare new prescription and refill requests for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Medication Dispensing: Dispense medication to patients per the prescription or provider's orders, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Pack and label prescribed medication, tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Insurance Claims: Process insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner, minimizing delays and errors.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements
  • Illinois Pharmacy Technician License: Possess a valid license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Illinois.
  • Recent Retail or Mail Order Pharmacy Experience: Demonstrate recent experience working in a retail or mail order pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and procedures.
