About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS SD Scotland Ctr. As an LPN, you will provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel, and demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.

This is a full-time position with 30 hours per week, offering a competitive salary range of $24.00 - $48.00 per hour. Our facility is a 5-star rated long-term care center with great teamwork and a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions and outcomes
  • Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing board, possess multi-state licensure privileges if required, and complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements.
