About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Woodland Heights Family Dental. As a key member of our dental support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient treatment process.
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, with a strong working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, as required by state dental practice act.
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment.
