Job Summary
We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team in Menlo Park, CA. As a Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in providing personal care and assistance to our participants, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
- Assist participants with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), such as laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.
- Measure and document participants' vital signs as instructed.
- Aid with light meal preparation and feeding, ensuring participants are nourished and hydrated.
- Help participants with safe transfer in and out of their homes, and act as a medical escort on vehicles and to medical appointments as assigned.
- Assist the Rehabilitation department by carrying out a home exercise program as indicated in the care plan developed by the interdisciplinary team (IDT), after sufficient training.
- Provide translation services as needed, if qualified.
