We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) at Novant Health's New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and monitor patients closely in the STICU.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Manage complex medical conditions and perform necessary procedures.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on care and treatment options.
  • Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • At least one year of experience in a trauma level 1 or 2 ED or ICU setting.
