Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, tools, and other complex systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment, using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic test equipment as needed.
  • Component Repair: Research, acquire, install, and inspect repair components to complete machine tool repairs.
  • Documentation: Utilize maintenance software to develop and document standard operating instructions, spare parts data, and other relevant information.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with machine operators and management to schedule work orders and verify the success of repairs.
  • Vendor Communication: Consult with vendors and equipment manufacturers on repairs and upgrades.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to 5S requirements.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for 2-hour increments without sitting, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb stairs or ladders.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to learn and use multiple computer applications, and experience with PLC and industrial electronics.
