About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Technician to join our team at ECS Ltd. As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting observation, testing, and sampling of materials on construction materials testing project sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field activities, including observation, testing, and sampling of materials, under the guidance of senior technicians and project managers.
  • Execute tasks based on project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data, performing calculations and data reduction as needed.
  • Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
Requirements
  • No prior experience required; paid training and certification fees covered.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required.
  • Strong communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.
