Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year in Darlington, SC. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop effective communication skills, supporting their academic success and overall well-being.

  • You will conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' progress.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassion, patience, and adaptability with a genuine passion for working with children.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annumBenefits
