Key Responsibilities- Patrol premises and monitor surveillance equipment to prevent losses and damage.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security and safety.
- Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures.
- Comply with legal requirements and maintain organization's stability and reputation.
- Implement evacuation procedures as instructed by the Director of Facilities.
- Work according to the schedule decided at the weekly department staff meeting.
- Attend department and all staff meetings.
- Comply with company's mission, Infection Control, OSHA, DPH rules and regulation.
- Maintain appropriate attendance.
- High school graduate or GED.
- One to two years experience as security personnel.
- Flexibility to work days, weekends, and evenings as required.
- Flexibility to work at multiple sites.
- Bi-Lingual preferred (Spanish) but not required.
- Connecticut driver's license required.
- Active guard card issued by the State of Connecticut.
- Medical & Dental Insurance.
- Accrued Vacation Time.
- Three (3) Personal Days.
- 403b Retirement Plan.
- Employer paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.
- Eleven (11) Paid Holidays.
