About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Jabbergym, A member of the Point Quest Group. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping children with communication disorders to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' levels of functioning and ability to communicate.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with classroom teachers and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including one-to-one and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in in-service education, utilization review, and team conferences to stay current with best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • Current, active license as a Speech Pathologist (SLP, SLPL, SLP-CCC) or eligibility for licensure.
  • At least one year of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school or treatment setting.
  • Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures, including computer literacy and proficiency in company software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to students and families.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes. The position requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more pounds. The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
