Job Title:

Clinical Nurse Specialist - Perinatal Care

Job Summary:

The University of California is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead the perinatal program at UCLA Health. As a key member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for advancing the practice of nursing and contributing to the development of evidence-based care strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies.
  • Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice at the unit/system, local, state, and national levels.
  • Provide leadership, education, and mentoring to nurses within the perinatal program.
  • Develop and implement practice standards and policies using evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • CA RN License.
  • CA CNS License.
  • Masters in Nursing (MSN).
  • National certification in area of specialty.
  • CNS Advanced Practice Certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years recent RN experience, including 3 years in clinical specialty.
  • One year CNS experience in clinical specialty (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in research and grant writing.
  • Organizational, analytical, oral, and written presentation skills with proficiency in MS Office programs.
Salary Range:

$140,200 - $331,800
