Job Summary

The Multivac Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining the machines in operational order, ensuring the product flows smoothly, and performing general maintenance tasks to prevent jams and downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain machine in operational order
  • Keep machine free of jams
  • Make changes based on production needs
  • Maintain basic equipment conditions, including cleaning, lubricating, inspecting, and maintaining proper alignment
  • Perform minor repairs as needed
Requirements
  • High School or equivalent education not required but beneficial
  • Worked a minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years
  • Prior operating experience and/or mechanical/technical experience preferred
Work Environment

Exposure to wet and moist floors, temperatures between 28°F and 100°F, and humidity levels up to 100%. May handle product at temperatures between 25°F and 50°F. May be exposed to noise levels between 50 dB and 110 dB, dust, feathers, and chemicals used in poultry and food processing facilities. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment as directed by the Company.
