REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST JOB OVERVIEW
Accountable for executing a range of respiratory care procedures and functions as directed by a physician.
Delivers services to various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, ensuring an understanding of the functional and developmental age of each individual served.
Must actively engage in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.

REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:
Graduation from an accredited respiratory care program.

Per Diem II:
Minimum one year of clinical experience required.

PREFERRED:
Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements:
HOLD A CURRENT ILLINOIS RESPIRATORY THERAPY LICENSE OR LETTER OF AUTHORITY FROM ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL REGULATION.

NOTE:
LICENSE EXAMINATION MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 60 DAYS OF GRADUATION. LICENSE MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 90 DAYS OF GRADUATION. Must possess current ACLS certification.

Employment Status:
NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
