About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Birmingham, AL. This is a full-time, full-year position with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' overall development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Alabama.
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy services.
