**Company Overview:**

We are partnering with a well-respected school district in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to fill a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) contract position. At AMN Healthcare, we strive to provide quality support to schools.

**Salary Estimate:** $80-$100 per hour, depending on experience, plus reimbursement for meal & incidental expenses and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company.

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students' academic and social development. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The SLP will develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs. Direct therapy services will be provided to students in individual and group settings, monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
  • Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
