Radiology Technologist PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Fairview Park Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiography exams for interpretation by our radiologists. Your primary goal will be to provide optimum care to patients, physicians, and their families in accordance with our hospital's standards of care.

Essential Duties:
  • Provide quality radiography exams for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Maintain and apply current radiography standards and clinical competency, including age competency.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to prioritize and problem-solve in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Ensure quality patient care, contrast media administration, quality control, patient documentation, and record maintenance.
  • Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families.
  • Continuously develop your skills and actively participate in performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification with a vocational school graduate degree in Radiography.
  • Current certification in Radiography.
