Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses in providing direct patient care, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Support patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment by maintaining patient rooms and common areas.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current Rhode Island CNA license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in ICU/CCU.
