Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary:

School-Based Behavior Consultation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral services to children with autism, serious emotional disabilities, and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans in one-on-one and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment teaching arrangements.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior, and assist with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments.
  • Document interventions, progress data, and session notes.
  • Assist with staff training on student individualized treatment and behavior change protocols.
  • Immediately report to the BCBA any student incidents, variances, or complaints.
  • Attend to work and arrive in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with staff regarding student progress as instructed by the BCBA.
  • Participate in required training programs as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field preferred.
  • One year of experience as an RBT.
  • Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification, including annual renewal and registration.
  • CPR and CPI certification.
  • Drug Screen.
  • Criminal background check required for hire.
