Data Collection and Unit Information:

As a Neuro Tech Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting data in a fast-paced Neuro unit. The unit information includes:

Location and Unit Details:

The unit is located in a hospital setting and is equipped with the latest technology. The unit is responsible for providing care to patients with neurological conditions.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Collecting data on patient conditions and treatments
  • Assisting with patient care and procedures
  • Working with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • R.T. (R) certification
  • Experience working in a Neuro unit
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

While not required, experience with Neuro/IR/Cath lab radiologic technologist procedures and equipment would be an asset. Additionally, a strong understanding of EMR systems and patient ratios would be beneficial.

Typical Procedures:

You will be working with patients who require Neuro Thrombectomy/interventions and Cath lab procedures. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks will be essential to success in this role.

Floating Areas:

You will be required to float to the Cath lab and Neuro Lab as needed. Your ability to adapt to new environments and prioritize tasks will be essential to success in this role.

A scrub color/attire is required for this role. Please note that unit guidelines/policies will be provided upon hire.

Weekends and On-Call:

This role requires weekend and on-call shifts. Your ability to work a flexible schedule and prioritize tasks will be essential to success in this role.
