Our nursing professionals play a vital role in assisting families and caregivers in navigating their child's intricate healthcare requirements within the comfort of their own homes. At Benchmark, our Practical Nursing Specialists value the autonomy to operate independently, free from the constraints of traditional hospital or long-term care environments.

We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Practical Nursing Specialists to join our dedicated team and positively impact the lives of children. Our service areas include various locations.

Compensation: $25-$27.5/hr for Practical Nursing Specialists

Opportunities for both Full-time and Part-time positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nursing care as outlined in the nursing practice regulations and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Effectively communicate any changes in patient status or condition to the RN Clinical Care Manager or designated RN.
  • Administer skilled nursing care for clients as directed by the RN Clinical Care Manager.
  • Adhere to the established Plan of Care and Nursing Care Plans set forth by the physician and RN.
  • Identify and report changes in client condition to the RN Clinical Care Manager and physician, as instructed.
  • Ensure timely communication of information in accordance with Agency policy and the urgency of the situation. Communicate verbally as necessary and maintain complete and accurate documentation in the clinical record.
  • Receive verbal orders from a physician or qualified medical personnel and document accordingly, to be co-signed by the Clinical Care Manager or designated RN.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Nursing License in the relevant state
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel to nearby clients requiring assistance
