Habilitation Counselor

We are seeking a skilled Habilitation Counselor to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Habilitation Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses to maximize their independence and reach their full potential.

• Develop and implement individualized goals and treatment plans to support individuals in achieving their goals.
• Conduct progress assessments to track improvements and identify areas for further support.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, and guardians to discuss goals and develop support plans.
• Supervise and assist individuals in implementing program plans, ensuring their health and physical needs are met.

• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and guardians.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality support to individuals.
