Job Summary

The Financial Services Collector will be responsible for negotiating with customers who are delinquent on their accounts, with the goal of bringing the account current while complying with internal policies and procedures. This will involve making contact with customers via phone, utilizing online systems to perform skip trace work, and recommending accounts for repossession or legal action when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate with customers to bring delinquent accounts current

  • Document all actions taken on the account
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Moderate computer knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word software
  • Ability to recognize problems and resolve or escalate as needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a high-energy standard office and/or home environment
