Job Title: Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team at Space Exploration Technologies Corp. This role is responsible for designing, building, and activating infrastructure that enables the company's long-term mission.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience with the design or build of MEP building systems and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline. They should possess primary experience with electrical and power distribution systems, including HVAC operation and design principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the project team through the MEP engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
  • Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects
  • Negotiate and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines
  • Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience with the design or build of MEP building systems
  • Primary experience with electrical and power distribution systems, including HVAC operation and design principles
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
