About the Role:

In collaboration with the Substance Use Disorder Medical Director, you will provide guidance on the development and treatment of substance use disorders in patients at MGB Salem Hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert care to patients with substance use disorders
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participating in hospital-wide, community-based, and MGB SUD task forces
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of substance use issues and significant mental health concerns with adolescents and adults
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families
  • Masters Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field
  • Any licensed discipline (PhD/PsyD, LICSW or LMHC)
