Job Title: Abinitio Developer

APN Consulting is seeking a skilled Abinitio Developer to join our team. As an Abinitio Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data processing applications using Ab Initio software.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data processing applications using Ab Initio software.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement data integration solutions.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing data processes.
  • Ensure high performance and reliability of data solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Document technical designs and processes.
  • Provide support and maintenance for deployed applications.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data integration and ETL development.
  • Proficiency in Ab Initio software.
  • Strong SQL and database skills.
  • Experience with data modeling and data warehousing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with other ETL tools is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
