Job Title: Lifestyle Coordinator

At Leland Management, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and coordinating high-quality activities, events, and programs that promote resident socialization, education, physical and mental well-being, and fun.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute activities, events, and programs that cater to the diverse interests of our residents.
  • Support resident-led activities, groups, and clubs, and encourage socialization and participation.
  • Assist the Entertainment and Events Committee in purchasing and coordinating event materials, and maintain an inventory checklist of supplies and materials.
  • Provide input into the development of budgets for planned events and activities.
  • Understand and apply safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain participation and attendance records for each activity or event instance.
  • Take photographs for use in social media, newsletters, and videos.
  • Assist with creating and producing the monthly calendar with activities and events.
  • Contribute to website content, newsletters, and other communications as needed.
  • Handle vendor contracts for shows and upload contracts to the website.
  • Oversee and process invoices from sponsorships, events, and vendors.
  • Assist in scheduling and hosting new resident meetings to assess interests and community living goals.
  • Recruit and train volunteers from within the community to participate and assist with events, activities, and clubs.
  • Manage the volunteer schedule for consistent and equal participation by all who wish to participate.
  • Assist with interviewing process and making recommendations for qualified and certified instructors and local, licensed transportation companies.
  • Create partnerships with residents, vendors, businesses, and organizations to enhance lifestyle programs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience coordinating events and conducting group activities and trips preferred.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Experience working with senior populations or other special populations preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
Working Conditions:

This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Must be able to work day or night shifts and some weekends while events are held.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE
