Job Summary

Champro is seeking a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate embroidery machines according to specifications, including loading designs, threading needles, and adjusting settings.
  • Load and configure designs based on customer specifications, ensuring the correct placement, color, and size of embroidery.
  • Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Adjust machine settings for different types of fabrics and design requirements.
  • Perform color matching and thread selection based on design requirements.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring that designs are accurately reproduced and meet quality standards.
  • Make necessary adjustments to correct issues like misalignment, thread breaks, or machine malfunctions.
  • Manage inventory of threads, needles, and other supplies, ensuring that necessary materials are available for ongoing projects.
  • Maintain records of completed orders, including design specifications, materials used, and any issues encountered during production.
  • Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles or other parts as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in embroidery machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret design files and specifications.
  • Basic mechanical skills for machine maintenance.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report any issues.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for design setup and machine operation.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing/production/warehouse environment.
  • Exposure to noise from embroidery machines.
  • Fast-paced, with deadlines to meet for customer orders.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
