Position Overview

Are you skilled in mechanical and electrical systems? Do you enjoy delivering top-notch service to clients? Join our esteemed team and become part of the foremost provider of commercial food equipment service.

  • You will engage with clients to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of commercial food equipment, including cooking appliances, food preparation tools, ware washers, weigh wrap systems, baking equipment, and refrigeration units.
  • You will typically start your day from home and operate with minimal direct oversight at various customer locations.
  • You will strive to meet or exceed weekly productivity and customer satisfaction targets while upholding a high standard of service excellence.

Required Qualifications

What you will bring:

  • A valid High School Diploma or GED, along with 0-2 years of relevant electrical or mechanical experience.
  • A valid Driver's License and the ability to drive for extended periods daily.
  • Willingness to work overtime and be on-call as necessary.
  • Availability to participate in comprehensive training at our corporate headquarters.

While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee may:

  • Lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
  • Climb up to 10 ft using an A-frame ladder.
  • Occasionally access roofs via extension ladders or fixed ladders exceeding 20 feet.
  • Walk extensively, covering 3-5 miles per day.
  • Drive for 5-6 hours daily.
  • Kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull as needed.
  • Maneuver in various positions to complete tasks in diverse environments, including tight and confined spaces.
  • Operate motor vehicles or heavy machinery.
  • Utilize machinery and/or power tools.

Working Conditions

  • Office and customer facilities, including various types of commercial kitchens.
  • Potential exposure to noise, heat, cold, and slippery or wet conditions.
  • Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.

Work Hours

  • Regular business hours with occasional extended hours as needed.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet critical deadlines.
  • Extended hours may include nights and/or weekends.
  • Scheduled hours may cover early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
