Academic General/MIS Surgeon Opportunity

We invite applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Level in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.

  • Teach, conduct research, and provide clinical care for general surgery patients with a focus on complex hernias.
  • Develop expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches and contribute to the Division of General Surgery's academic practice.
  • Serve as an exceptional role model and mentor, supervising trainees and students in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This esteemed position offers:

  • A competitive salary range estimated at $163,300 - $455,961, commensurate with academic rank and experience.
  • A membership in the health sciences compensation plan, providing additional compensation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • MD degree or equivalent.
  • Board-eligible or certified in General Surgery.
  • Eligibility for California medical licensure.
