Job Title: Terminal Driver

Fastenal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Terminal Driver to join our team. As a Terminal Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our branches and customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering products in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Interact with our shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations.
  • Participate in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety, and sustainability objectives.
  • Learn, pass, and practice various environmental health and safety trainings.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess or be currently in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License.
  • Possess a current Health Card or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Possess a current Haz Mat endorsement or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver.
  • Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service.
  • Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines.
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Lift up to 60lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs.
  • Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification, and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior driving work experience.
  • Prior experience operating a forklift.
