Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician III to join our team at the University of Louisville. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting heating and air conditioning systems, as well as other specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating units, pumps, and boilers.
  • Service refrigeration equipment and other specialized equipment, such as autoclaves and environmental boxes.
  • Lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and crawl when necessary to perform duties.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Commonwealth of Kentucky Journeyman license.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Three years of related experience.
  • Valid driver's license, insurable by University insurance carrier.
  • Police record check and employment physical.
