Your expertise will be essential in coordinating comprehensive patient care, from assessment to evaluation, in accordance with established standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide and coordinate patient-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered goals and outcomes.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to inform care decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license.
- BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program.
- Nurses with more than 12 months experience in direct patient care must possess a BSN or obtain either BSN or Advocate Aurora Health recognized nursing certification within one year of the date of hire.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts in order to accommodate staffing.
As a Registered Nurse at Advocate Health, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment that prioritizes patient care and safety. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Please note that certain positions may require the ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance, and patient handling equipment will be provided to support safe patient lifting and movement.
