Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for a Medical Surgical/Tele travel nursing job in a reputable healthcare institution.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med Surg/Tele and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and implementing individualized plans of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Initiate assessment based on patient's problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
  • Manage care of patients based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
  • Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting
  • Strong MS/Tele background
  • ASN degree
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
