About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Wedgewood Village Pharmacy, LLC. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compounding and Dispensing: Supervise the compounding of preparations, filling and labeling of prescriptions, and prepackaging of bulk medications.
  • Communication and Counseling: Communicate with providers to receive new prescription orders, clarify prescriptions, and authorize refills. Counsel patients and answer questions from patients and providers.
  • Quality Control: Consistently meet standards for accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance, and potency. Adhere to USP and guidelines, as well as Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management, pharmacist in charge, or shift leader. Mentor and develop a team of Pharmacists.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm. D.). Current License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of California.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in a regulated environment or equivalent experience required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills. Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to remain calm, professional, diplomatic, and positive. Strong organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to think and act independently.
